Doyle Lowther has received scores of consumer inquiries and complaints concerning Philips/Magnavox defective plasma televisions. The defectively manufactured Philips/Magnavox plasma televisions overheat during normal use.
Philips/Magnavox refuses to fix the problem or order a recall, leaving consumers stranded with expensive, defective plasma televisions. The firm has filed suit against Philips/Magnavox and seeks relief on behalf of tens of thousands of injured consumers.
The overheating renders the Philips/Magnavox plasma TV inoperable, and thus following overheating, the plasma televisions stop working. Philips/Magnavox has failed to warn consumers about the defect. Philips/Magnavox has not recalled the defective plasma televisions, nor has Philips/Magnavox reimbursed consumers for repairing or replacing defective plasma televisions or provided additional warranty benefits or guarantees to customers.
